A teaching given in Lausanne, 4 august 2009.
How can we ready ourselves, emotionally and spiritually for death, or learn to care for others as they approach death? By reflecting on, and accepting the fact that we, and all other things are impermanent; and by adopting an open and compassionate motivation as the basis for all our actions. If we take the opportunity for re-assessment and renewal that this process offers us, we will transform our entire attitude to life. We will also begin to live in a way that is more peaceful, and more in harmony with our fundamental nature.
