Longchen nyingtik phowa (download)

As stated in the Buddha's Amitabha Sutra:

"Every sentient being who repeatedly remembers the appearance of that being thus vanished, cultivates innumerable roots of virtue, dedicates them fully to the realization of awakening by bringing forth bodhicitta, and prays to be reborn in this world, will see the being thus vanished, the destroyer of enemies, the being fully awakened."

As Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche said:

"Much can be said about the Longchen Nyingtik cycle of teachings, but in summary, it contains practices without elaboration (the completion-phase practices of trekchö and tögal) as well as many types of generation-phase practices that must be performed. It is clearly stated that by practicing phowa, you can reach the awakened state in just seven days. And if you are unable to practice phowa yourself, an accomplished lama can do it for you and successfully transfer your consciousness to a pure land. This is why phowa is described as a practice that brings "enlightenment without meditation".
