How do we begin to practise meditation seriously? First, create an environment that is conducive to inner reflection and the settling of the mind. Then practice in formal sessions, so that it’s actually possible to come to terms with life and bring about inner change. Finally, we must apply our meditation practice to ourselves as we go about our daily life, so that we can translate the teachings into action. If we do this, then our lives will really change.
