Kucho Dakpa Tamdin is a 91-year-old Tibetan who has been a refugee since the mid-80s. He learned his skills from numerous Lamas in Tibet's monasteries. When he arrived in India, he started his own incense factory and sought advice from His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche. Rinpoche gave him instructions specific to the Nyingma lineage, and above all his "Jilab Phabta", his own initial ingredients. His Holiness then asked him to make his own incense. The incense delighted His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche, and his disciples spread the popularity of Kucho Dakpa Tamdin's incense. He then passed on his knowledge to members of his family; our supplier is Dakpa Tamdin's direct nephew, and sole holder of his original recipe.
This Tibetan incense is handmade with non-toxic ingredients according to a centuries-old recipe. It contains highly fragrant medicinal herbs and precious substances, and is mainly used for spiritual practices.
