The summer 2011 edition of View pays tribute to Khandro Tsering Chödrön, the spiritual wife of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö and one of the foremost female practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism of recent times.
This issue also addresses the theme of Buddhism in the modern world, with perspectives from Sogyal Rinpoche and Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche on how the Dharma can be taught and practised most effectively in the future.
There are reports on the International Forum on Buddhism and Medicine, which explored the theme of Meditation and Health, and the Shamatha Project, the most comprehensive study on meditation ever conducted.
